Review:

Chemistry Fun is a very simple and self-explanatory application. It is designed to help users learn about  the elements of the periodic table, although it only gives you very basic knowledge, and does not go very far in terms of teaching through pictures and videos. In fact, it does not have any color or pictures at all! The background is very plain and black, which to me does not make learning more exciting at all. I think that the app would be useful for students only starting to learn about the elements, but it is not very useful to me as I already know quite a lot and need more specific information about each one.

        One thing I really like about Chemistry Fun is that it gives you lots of element-related jokes, which are very funny. But on the other hand, these jokes are slightly distracting if you want to learn about a certain element, and then end up spending half an hour clicking the ‘Gimme another one!’ button to generate more and more jokes. When I just found this app, I was studying for a Science test, and wanted to know more about elements. But I instead wasted a ton of time laughing at all of the hilarious jokes the application generated.

        Chemistry Fun can be used by anyone wanting to learn about the elements, or wanting extra information to add to what they are learning in school. I would recommend this app, but only to someone who needs simple and basic facts, not to a university student who is studying chemistry, and not to a teacher needing an app to explore chemistry with his/her students. Chemistry Fun deserves 7 stars out of 10, in my opinion.
