My dear M– de Laszlo –

I shall be returning vy soon – as I am sorry to say – my father is now so frail and ill, that we do not think he can live vy long[1] – My brother and sister are with him at the moment. I will let you know after Whitsun when I am there – unless I have to go before.

I will see about the War picture [6133] at once – I must find out who to write to about it – Of course you

can have Mary’s picture [6158] – It is at Londonderry House now.[2] I told the housekeeper you might want it, I do hope when you get the War Museum picture, you will not part with it in a hurry!!
