After the fight was over, Luke and R2D2 took off in their ship.
While they ________________ flying, R2D2 beeped a question to Luke. "There's nothing wrong, R2," Luke responded. "I'm just setting a new course." R2D2 beeped once again. "We're not going to regroup with the others," Luke responded. "We're going to Dagobah."
And so, Luke and R2D2 went in a different direction than Han's ship.
Meanwhile, Han was trying to escape from the Empire's ships.
Chewbacca growled a warning to Han. "I saw them! I saw them!" Han yelled back.
"Saw what?" Leia asked.
"Star Destroyers, two of them, coming right at us," Han said.
C3P0 came into the room. "Sir, sir! Might I suggest--" he began.
But Han stopped him. "Shut him ________________ or shut him down!" Han yelled to Leia. Then Han said to Chewbacca, "prepare to make the jump to light-speed."
The enemy ships were getting closer. "They're getting closer!" said Leia.
"Oh yeah?" said Han "Watch this."
Han threw the switch, but nothing happened.
"Watch what?" Leia asked.
Han tried again. Still nothing. "I think we're ________________ trouble," said Han.
"If I may say so, sir, I noticed earlier that the ship has been damaged," C3P0 said. "It's impossible to go to light-speed!"
"We're in trouble!" Han said.
Han and Chewbacca ran to the back to fix the ship. "I don't know ________________ we're going to get out of this one," Han said.
Suddenly, a loud thump hit the side of the ship, causing it to go sideways. The tools fell into the pit on top of Han. "Oww! Chewie!" Han yelled. The ship rocked some more. "That was no laser blast!" Han said. "Something hit us."
"Han, get up here!" Leia said over the intercom.
Han and Chewbacca ran into the control room. "Asteroids!" Leia said. ("Asteroids" are rocks in outer space.)
Han flew the ship into the asteroid field. Princess Leia was shocked. "What are you doing? You're not actually going into an asteroid field?" she said.
"They'd be crazy to follow us, ________________ they?" Han responded.
The asteroids were very dangerous. The ship was getting damaged. "You said you ________________ to be around when I made a mistake," Han said to Leia. "Well, this could be it, sweetheart."
"I take it back," Leia said.
"I'm going in ________________ to one of those big ones," Han said.
"Closer?" said Leia.
"Closer?" said C3P0.
"Oh, this is suicide!" C3P0 exclaimed.
Han pointed at a hole in the asteroid. "There. That looks pretty good," he said.
"What looks pretty good?" Leia asked.
"There. That'll do nicely," Han said.
"Excuse me, ma'am, but where are we going?" C3P0 asked Leia.
Han flew the ship into the big hole. "I hope ________________ know what you're doing," Leia said to Han.
"Yeah, me too," Han responded.
Meanwhile, Luke and R2D2 flew to the planet Dagobah.
R2D2 beeped a question. "Yes, that's it," Luke said. "Dagobah."
R2D2 beeped another question. "No, I'm not going to change my ________________ about this," Luke said.
Luke flew his plane down into the planet, but there was too much fog. "I can't see a thing!" Luke yelled. The plane crashed into a swamp.
R2D2 and Luke both got out of the plane. "You stay put," Luke said to R2D2. "I'll have a look around."
But R2D2 fell into the water. "R2!" Luke yelled. "R2! Where are you?" A small bit of R2D2 came up from the water. Luke was relieved. "You ________________ more careful," Luke said to R2D2.
R2D2 went towards the land, but he was eaten by a swamp monster. Fortunately, robots don't taste very good, so the swamp monster spit R2D2 out. Luke ran over to R2D2. "Oh, no! Are you all right?" Luke said. "You ________________ lucky to get out of there. Anything broken?"
R2D2 beeped.
"If you're saying coming here was a bad idea, I'm beginning to agree with you," Luke said. "Oh, R2, what are we ________________ here? It's like something out of a dream, or, I don't know. Maybe I'm just going crazy."
Meanwhile, the admiral went to report to Darth Vader. "Yes, Admiral?" Darth Vader said.
"Our ships have sighted the ship, my lord. But it has entered an asteroid field and we cannot risk--"
Darth Vader stopped him. "Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I ________________ that ship, not excuses."
"Yes, my lord," the admiral replied.
Meanwhile, Han's ship was at the bottom of a deep hole in an asteroid.
"I'm going to shut down everything but the emergency power systems," Han said.
"Sir, I'm almost afraid to ask, but does that include shutting me down, too?" C3P0 said.
"No, I need you to talk to the ship's computers, find out what's wrong with it," Han said.
Suddenly, the ship rocked back and forth. "Sir," C3P0 said, "it's quite possible this asteroid is not entirely stable." ("Stable" means something that does not move. If something is "not stable" then it moves a lot.)
"Not entirely stable? Well I'm glad you're here to tell ________________ these things," Han said sarcastically. "Chewie, take the professor in the back and plug him into the ship."
As C3P0 and Chewbacca left, C3P0 complained, "Sometimes I just don't understand human behaviour. After all, I'm only trying to ________________ my job."
The ship rocked again. Leia fell into Han's arms. "Let go," Leia said.
"Sshh!" Han replied.
"Let go, please," Leia said again.
"Don't get excited," Han said.
"Captain, being held by you isn't quite enough to get me excited," said Leia.
"Sorry, sweetheart. I haven't got time for anything ________________," Han said. Han smiled and walked away.
