- Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center offers a care package of meditation, films & poetry by APA artists
- Writing Prompts to Bridge Social Distance, for young people by @youthspeaks
- Dovesong Lab: Writing prompts and resources by Jayy Dodd
- https://www.rootslam.org/ Every 2nd and 4th Saturday, this Oakland-based slam poetry community hosts free writing workshops. All are welcome.
- Emergence Magazine offers free online writing classes focused on connecting with nature.
- For Black Writers: Cave Canem is offering a special initiative, Literary Balms: A Virtual Community Writing Project. Each Monday, you will be greeted with three writing prompts generated by Cave Canem fellows and links to poetry-related readings. Find prompts on their newsletter and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).

- Mobile Homecoming Sunday Service: On the third Sunday of the month, Alexis Pauline Gumbs and Sangodare host a Sunday Service at North Star Church in Durham, NC that is live streamed.
- Highlander Center is hosting spiritual soirees and other virtual gathering spaces during this time. You can subscribe to their newsletters or follow them on Facebook to learn more.
- Both Joy DeGruy and Shawna Murray-Browne balance spiritual/material focus intentionally and organically in their work (links above)

- AK Press e-books are all $1.99
- Charis Books & More (Atlanta), an independent feminist bookstore, is currently offering "Stay at Home" $1 shipping for orders placed online so patrons don't have to leave their homes.
- Cafe Con Libros (NYC), a Black-owned, independent feminist bookstore in Brooklyn, is also offering $0.99 shipping for orders placed online. They also host an online Womxn of Color book club, writing workshops, & other events.
- Bluestockings (NYC), a rad feminist, volunteer-run community bookstore hosts community events: open mics, book clubs, narcan / overdose trainings (still offering), self-defense, harm reduction. Their instagram is a resource - see highlights.
- Politics and Prose (D.C.), an independent bookstore, is offering free shipping until the end of March.
