Change of Command Ceremony

Cabrillo’s NJROTC hosted a change of command ceremony at the football field. The event began at 4:30 and before that, all the cadets gathered together in their platoon formation to say farewell to their old battalion commander Ruby Enriquez Herndandez and say hello to their new battalion commander Samantha Lorenzo. The Executive Officer, Omar Contreras, had also passed on his position to Tristan Rodriguez and the Senior Enlisted, Franco Barrera, who passed it on to Jorge Evangelista. We believe that these new people in these positions have the ability to create a better version of this program which will take our cadets into higher places. We wish farewell to the old cadets and welcome the new ones. With such responsibility, Samantha Lorenzo will take the program higher and better than it ever was.
