My comment

I think I need to work on using full sentences and paragraphs in my answers.

Kelly’s comment:

I think it has been a really great challenge for you this term to answer a range of questions which require a lot more detail We will continue to use the Bloom’s questions to help you improve your thinking. Next you can write the questions for the texts you read!

Understanding author's purpose

1.For what purpose did the author write many rhetorical questions?

To make you think about these things because It can help in the future. Rhetorical questions definitely make you think about a topic for yourself before reading on.

Understanding author's purpose

2. List all the verbs used in paragraph 1. Then explain the different impact the paragraph would have on the reader if there were none of these descriptive verbs.

asked, huddled, losing, shuddered,  fell, gasped, pulled, falling, rising, twisted, dropped

, jerked . It would be difficult to make a picture in your mind and people wouldn't want to read the book. Fantastic thinking Lydia!

Understanding author's purpose

Nervous ,stressed and confused but he new he had duty and he felt brave about it and he wanted tando to do it because she had more experience that was a sign that he was scared

Create

Without reading ahead, write a paragraph of what might happen next

he might fall into a hole and a the bottom there might be a cave with the crystal crescent.

But it might be a trap because it says almost everyone has came with the crystal crescent .

Or he might get stuck in the egg incubator and get shaped into a egg.

He will get stuck and can't get back up unless there is something that you can rewind time.
