Four Schroeder swimmers will travel to Seattle, WI this week to race at the USA Swimming Speedo Winter Jr Nationals. The meet is SCY and the athletes are: Rina Krupsky, Ashlyn Schoof, Claudia Kirkpatrick, and Holly Stoll. Click on the badge to go to the meet site.

Last call! With the big drawing coming up during the Y Finalist Meet, we have just days to go now. Coaches always have extra tickets with them; just let them know you need more. Thanks to everyone who continue to go above and beyond their required number of tickets.
Remember to drop off your ticket stubs to the coaches before or after practice. The last chance for everyone to turn them in is this Saturday, before the completion of the Sat. afternoon session of the Y-Finalist Meet.

- Clinics - Schroeder North clinics are posted and will be available for registration on Thursday, 11/27 in the morning. Limit 24 per clinic. These clinics will take place at the WSAC. See Schroeder South section for info on the Schroeder South Start and Turn Clinic.

The Conference Championship Meet was Saturday, December 6th, and the White team won a great meet! We will take a break until the New Year but consider a clinic! Some athletes are ready to move groups and coaches will be sure to let you know! Great job this fall.

1. Mail Checks to Matt Miller:

2. Check Out the Schroeder South Start and Turn Clinic:
Schroeder South is offering a clinic over the winter break for the first time. It will be a start and turn clinic available to AG1, AG2, AG3, Super 8, Schroeder Star and SuperStar swimmers.
Interested swimmers can sign up as they would for a meet. Registered swimmers will be billed for the clinic through their team account. Space is limited. We’ve already had a great response, and we hope to see you there.

5. Introducing Coach Jourdie:
We are pleased to welcome Coach Jourdie Lepkowski to the Schroeder South Staff. Jourdie was one of the original Schroeder South Swim Team members when we began. Jourdie is a senior at Franklin High School where she just completed her final season of competition as captain of the Girls’ Swim Team.
Jourdie also had a great career as a WI State Championship qualifying SST swimmer. Her main events were butterfly and distance freestyle. She knows the SS program inside and out, and we know she will be an excellent addition to our staff.
Jourdie will be joining Coach Riley to assist Coach Becky and Coach Ann with all of the team’s 12 & Under groups. Just FYI, Coach Riley will not be around much until February because he is swimming for his high school team (Thomas More) until then.

7. South Think Tank (SSTT):
We’re forming an official SSTT membership group for parents willing to commit to attend all 4 SSTT meetings a year (September, November, January and May) to develop consistency, so watch for an email. If you’re interested in becoming an official member, please let Bob know. All are welcome. It’s a great way to meet other parents, give your input, and help strengthen our team.
The next SSTT meeting is Monday, January 19th at 6:30 p.m. at Front Room Photo, 2637 S. Kinnickinnic Ave, Bay View. We plan to have our official SSTT members in place for the January meeting but as always, it’s open to all parents. A big thanks to the Laber family for offering their beautiful studio space for our 11/3 meeting and hosting our 1/19 meeting.
8. Signing Up For Meets On Your Swimmer’s Meet Schedule:
To enter a meet, click on the swim team home page, and scroll down to the list of meets. Click on “Attend/Decline” for the meet (enter password if necessary). Then click on Undeclared Athletes, scroll to your swimmer’s name, click on the name, commit (put yes) in the declaration box, and click on the save changes box.
Once the swimmer is committed, you may choose the swimmer’s events or have the coach choose the events (recommended).
If your swimmer cannot attend, follow the previous steps and put no in the declaration box. Please use the message box to explain why the swimmer is not participating, and then click on the save changes box.
If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask.
