🍉  About the Film

We’ll be screening the short documentary Resistance Climbing, directed by Zachary Barr and Nick Rosen and originally released as part of Reel Rock 17.

In the strife-torn hills of Palestine, a diverse crew of Bedouins, activists and urban professionals embraces climbing as a much-needed respite from the burdens of the Israeli occupation. American writer & climber Andrew Bisharat visits the West Bank to explore his own roots and the power of climbing to transform lives.

🍉  Food

We’ll have food and snacks generously donated by Lion Dance Cafe and Millie’s Munchies available for purchase (all proceeds will be donated).

You’re welcome to bring food to share in our Community Potluck.

🍉  Raffle

Dope raffle prizes have been donated by local Bay Area artisans and small businesses, including Tacos Oscar, Oakland Guitars, Sunday Night Ritual (handmade jewelry), Curbside Creamery, and more!

Raffle tickets will be $2 each or $20 for a wingspan.

All proceeds from the raffle will be donated.
