The St. Stephen Catholic School Council held their final meeting of the year on Tuesday, June 20th. The Council would like to thank the community for supporting their initiatives to raise funds for the school and would like to invite any interested parents to attend the September Council meeting. The Council is always looking for new members to join! More information about the council can be found at: http://ste.ocsb.ca/catholic-school-council.
The book lending in the Learning Commons has ended for the year. All books need to be returned to Mrs. Stevenson this week.
We are having a Play Day on Monday, June 26th. Fun-filled outdoor activities will take place throughout the morning for students in Grades 1 to 5. Please ensure that your child wears appropriate clothing for outdoor activities, as well as a hat, sunscreen and safe, appropriate footwear on this day.
Grade 6 Leaving Ceremony and Field Trip
The Grade 6 students had a wonderful leaving ceremony on Friday, June 23rd at Holy Spirit Parish. It was a very special day for all who are involved. Congratulations to all of the students and their parents. Also, a reminder that on Monday, June 26th, the Grade 6 students will travel to Carleton University for their year end field trip. It should be a fun day for all involved, filled with a variety of sporting activities.
A reminder that the Report Cards will be sent home on Tuesday, June 27th. Parents are encouraged to review the report with their child and to return the comments slip to the school the following day.
Last Day of School
A reminder that Wednesday, June 28th, is the last day of school for the 2016-17 school year. Thursday, June 29th and Friday, June 30th are PD Days. Thanks for an incredible year and we wish you all a safe and happy Summer!
