WC-Oakhurst Garden Birthday Rental Contract
We appreciate you choosing the Oakhurst Garden, a branch of the Wylde Center, for your event.

The ground at Oakhurst Garden can be soft after a rain. Please keep this in mind if you will be using the site after large rain events. Because of this we ask that NO VEHICLES come on the property for loading and unloading.

Birthday Party Fees - 2 Hours (INCLUDES setup/breakdown)
Regular Rate - $200
Member Rate - $180

Additional services:
Extra Rental Hours: $75 per hour
Mosquito treatment - Common area - $35
Mosquito treatment - Common area and pond area - $70

Wylde Center Birthday Parties include: 2 hours rental time in the garden of your choice, Guided Theme Experience and access to rental space and rental facilities. Guests must provide their own decorations, favors, cakes, food, drink, supplies, and adornments.
Required
Security Deposit
All rentals require a refundable security deposit that will be returned after receiving your completed Wylde Center Event Checklist and approval of the site by the site coordinator. Failure to complete and turn in your checklist or disregarding our policies will cause your security deposit to be forfeited. Pay your deposit easily and quickly online:

Pack In, Pack Out
All Wylde Center Gardens are Pack In, Pack Out facilities. You as the rental client are responsible for removing from the Oakhurst Garden Grounds and Facility all trash, recycling, and other waste generated by your event.
Private Party Room
Each rental includes full access to a private party room in the back of the house which includes a bathroom, full kitchen (fridge, stove/oven, sink), and a room with tables and chairs for 15-20 people. You are welcome to use this space along with the rest of the garden, but are expected to remove all your belongings and/or clean it to its initial condition after your event. We are able to keep our rental rates so low because we do not have anyone cleaning between events.
Chaperones
We require a Wylde Center Chaperone if you are serving alcohol, using the fire pit, having amplified sound, or expecting over 50 guests. To discuss if you need a chaperone, please contact events@wyldecenter.org at least 2 weeks in advance.
Portable Toilets
All events with more than 50 guests are required to rent their own portable toilet. Our preferred service is National Rentals (http://www.rentnational.com/portable-restroom-rentals.aspx). Please contact them at 770.819.7787.
Fire Pit Use
A fire pit that is available for you to use during your event. If the fire pit needs to be emptied, please use the metal bin located behind the sinks marked WOOD ASH. Half burned logs should be left in the fire pit until they are completely used and should not be left anywhere on the property. Please do not put hot ash or wood in the bin. All fires must be completed extinguished before you leave the property. A chaperone is required if you will be using the fire pit at your event.
Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather on the day of your event, we are happy to work with you to reschedule for another day. If you choose not to reschedule, the full amount of the rental fee will still be due. Last-minute cancellations of outdoor rental events due to inclement weather will not be considered for refunds.
