Hello Wikimedians of East & Southeast Asia, would you like to meet?

Hello, Wikimedians. Last August, we had a wonderful Wikimania in London, and since them we found out that many areas in East and Southeast Asia have active Wikimedia communities. Every one of us is doing great things with the Wikimedia projects -- Wikimedia Indonesia has hosted wonderful online writing contests, Wikimedia Philippines has lots of GLAM related events, medical students in Taiwan start to translate articles from English Wikipedia to improve the quality of Chinese Wikipedia, Wiki Loves Monuments was successful in Thailand, and so on.

There are tons of stories we can learn, but we don't know what we have from all of our friendly neighbors. Start from that finding, we want to link us better. So we are planning to have a face-to-face meetup next year, with the initial date in March. We want to show each other what works and what don't when promoting wiki-based contribution in our own region, and also to have deeper collaboration within the region. If we want this to be a successful event, we need everyone's contribution.

So that's why we want to hear from you, please fill out this survey and let us know better what we can do together.

Thank you.

Regards,
the East and Southeast Asia meetup initiative team.
