If you'd like to attend the UCSD "Teaching with Wikipedia" workshop, please leave your details here. Attendees are invited from other UC, CSU, & other California institutions.
Want to increase your students’ information literacy in the digital age? Help them become more critical thinkers and producers of knowledge? Give them an opportunity to contribute their work in a space beyond the classroom and your class? Engage them in the editorial process? Offer them a collaborative experience? Consider using Wikipedia as an assignment in your humanities or social science course.
Join the Wiki Education Foundation and UCSD faculty and librarians in a workshop on the many options for critically engaging Wikipedia as a classroom assignment. Anyone who has engaged Wikipedia in their teaching is welcome to attend and encouraged to share.
Workshop co-sponsored by Wiki Education Foundation and UCSD Making of the Modern World Program, The Library, Center for the Humanities, and Teaching and Learning Commons.
Time: Tuesday, April 5th from 1:00-3:00pm
Location: UCSD Library – Seuss Room
