Thank you for your interest in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Application to the IB Diploma Program includes this survey, signed honor code and parent information contact sheet, and teacher evaluations. To apply to the full IB Diploma Program, you must have demonstrated academic success during the 9th and 10th grades, good attendance, and a comprehensive understanding of the philosophy and requirements of the IB Diploma Program.
Please show your motivation and organization by handing in materials on time. Application materials are due on March 1, 2017. Late applications may be accepted, but those students may be placed on a waiting list and will be considered only on a space-available basis. It is your responsibility to give the forms to three of your teachers (English, Math, and a teacher of your choice) as soon as possible.
Westminster High School must have a completed application fromstudents wishing to begin IB in their junior year that includes:
_ IB 11th grade application (answers to the questions on this survey)_ Transcripts from 9th grade and 1st semester 10th grade (if outside of Westminster HS)_ Attendance from 9th grade and 1st semester 10th grade (if outside of Westminster HS)_ Three requested teacher recommendations: turned into Ms. Curlee in A321 by March 1, 2017_Signed honor code and parent contact form: turned into Ms. Curlee in A321 by March 1, 2017
Availability is limited into the IB Program in 11th grade. The IB program is completed in the eleventh and twelfth grade. All IB classes are held at Westminster High School. All IB students are required to complete all requirements of the IB program as well as Westminster Public Schools graduation requirements.
Completed applications will be reviewed during the first week of March. You will be notified of the outcome of your application review as soon as possible thereafter. We wish you well in the application process.
