The College of Education at West Liberty University is offering 5 scholarship opportunities to undergraduate students to serve as a Technology Teaching Assistant from March 17 to May 10, 2014.
SCHOLARSHIP: $150 / student
DESCRIPTION: The successful candidates should demonstrate their proficiency in the technology application operation and trouble-shooting, providing faculty with one-on-one assistance on a fixed 3-hour schedule per week or "call-out" basis according to the faculty's needs on campus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experiences working with different modalities of instructional technology including presentation, course management system (Sakai), interactive whiteboard (SMART Board and Intelliboard), tutorial audio/video, website, flipped classroom, mobile learning (iPad), Web 2.0 tools, e-portfolio (LiveText), and assessment (SMART Response System).
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED: (1) Responds to requests for technology assistance from faculty and (2) Finishes the work in a satisfactory way under obligation.
