#AffordToDream Week of Action- March 15-16
Join CT Students for a Dream at our #AffordToDream Week of Action!

We need YOU to join us! Our communities are under attack, but we are #HereToStay and will fight back!

The time is now for Connecticut to pass legislation that equalizes access to student generated, institutional aid to all students regardless of immigration status.

In Connecticut, public colleges and universities set aside a proportion of tuition revenue to be used as ‘institutional aid’ to assist students with financial need. All Connecticut students, including undocumented immigrant students, pay tuition and contribute towards this institutional aid pool of funds. Yet Connecticut does not allow immigrant students access to institutional aid themselves.

This in unjust- if your tuition dollars fund this aid, you should be able to access this aid if you have financial need
