    Summer Enrichment Programs

    ALL ACADEMICS WILL BE LOCATED AT WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY, DAVIS CAMPUS (2750 UNIVERSITY PARK BLVD, LAYTON). MEET IN BUILDING D-3, ROOM 235. ACADEMIC ACADEMY (June 9–July 17) Monday-Thursday, 9:00AM–12:00PM Do you want to make-up credit or take original credit to get ahead this summer? Academic Academy gives students an opportunity to complete Electronic High School classes while receiving academic support from GEAR UP tutors. IMPORTANT: Students are REQUIRED to register with Electronic High School for classes at https://share.ehs.uen.org/. Please email your selected classes to Emily Romo-Hendrix at emilyromohendrix@weber.edu. STEM ACADEMY (June 16-June 19) Monday-Thursday, 1:00PM-2:30PM Do you want to gain more knowledge about science? STEM ACADEMY will teach students about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields in a fun and interactive setting. ROBOTICS ACADEMY (June 23-June 24) Monday-Tuesday, 9:00AM-12:30PM Are you interested in learning more about robots? This academy will provide students with information about exciting field of robotics! CAREER AND MAJORS ACADEMY (June 30-July 3) Monday-Thursday, 1:00PM-2:30PM Do you want to find the career or major for you? Career and Majors Academy will provide a free career assessment and help students explore various careers and majors. BUSINESS ACADEMY (July 7-8) Wednesdays, 1:00PM-2:30PM Do you imagine yourself in the business field? Business Academy will allow students to brainstorm, plan, and implement a business idea in a classroom setting.

    Sophomore Boot Camp

    The Sophomore Boot Camp is designed to support Junior High School students’ transition to High School. Students will become familiar with their high school and learn strategies to help them succeed.
