Science and Social Media
My name is Ryan Becker. I teach Physical Science at Woodstock Union Middle School. I am also currently in my fourth year of the Ed.D. program at UVM. I am very interested in how technology, and the web, can be leveraged to provide new opportunities for students to explore, experience and share science.

For my upcoming research at UVM, I am specifically interested in learning more about how social media is being used for teaching and learning in grades 7-12 science classrooms. I am trying to reach out to folks who are currently using social media in their science classrooms to get an initial sense of the types of social media being used, as well as the ways in which they are being utilized.

Below are some questions related to your use of social media for teaching and learning in your science classroom. By responding to these questions you are simply helping me to inform my approach to my upcoming research. You are NOT participating in a research study. All responses will be kept confidential. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at rbecker@wcsu.net or @Physci8
