Welcome Team Application
Hello and thank you for your interest in applying to be a Welcome Team member. Starting next year, we are giving the Welcome Team a “facelift,” so to speak; as we feel we can better maximize the effectiveness of the Welcome Team. As a Welcome Team member you will be working with 2-3 other Welcome Teamers and will be assigned to a specific dorm. You will be the primary CSC representative for that dorm throughout the year. You will be meeting with your freshmen dorm to keep the freshmen updated on CSC events, to push for a large Mass attendance from your freshmen, and to foster a loving environment in your assigned dorm that is reflective of the community and environment of the CSC. Our goal for this coming year is to be a larger presence in and around the South 40, the freshmen dorms, and campus.

In order to do this, we are expecting the following from every Welcome Team Member:

1. Reliable communication with Eva Mergner and Bill Heisler (CSU Co-Outreach Chairs who will update and contact every Welcome Team member).
2. Message and contact (via postcard and then Facebook) assigned incoming freshmen in Early August
3. Meeting and leading your dorm through discussions and activities once a month
4. Flyering in your dorm 1-2 times a month.
5. Walk with your assigned dorm to Mass the first 2 weeks of school
6. Sign up to meet students at the clock tower to walk down to Mass 2-3 times a semester.
7. Posting on our Facebook CSC page when your walking to Mass
8. Wearing your Welcome Team shirt and name tag every nametag Sunday (September and then once/month)
9. Attending all mandatory Welcome Team training sessions and activities.
