Do you pay workers and suppliers on time?

Always - even if that means taking out a loan to do so.

Usually - unless I have cash flow problems that month.

In theory, but often I end up paying late for one reason or another.

Nah - they usually have to nag me a few times. Or threaten to quit.

I'm always finding ways to give compliments.

I think hard before I give feedback about how to make it constructive and sensitive.

There are some people who are just so annoying or incompetent they have to be put in their place.

I point out all the errors in people's work so that they'll know I have a high standard.

How much “office gossip” do you spread around?

Everyone in the office knows that if they want to get the scoop on anyone, they should come to me first.

About as much as everyone else.

Only when it's really juicy... or if I have nothing else to talk about.

My mouth is closed - I know what it's like to be the butt of gossip (or I can imagine it) and I don't want to do that to anyone.

Do you take financial advantage of other people?

I've paid people a sub-standard salary when I knew they were desperate for work and wouldn't leave.

I've used legal loopholes to avoid paying workers' benefits.

I've overcharged when I thought I could get away with it.

Nope, never.

How much do you respect the boundaries of the people who work for you?

I expect them to be available 24/7 (or at least 18/7). They're always connected via some device, so if it's not the middle of the night and they don't respond within an hour or so, I do start getting a little annoyed.

If they say they can't handle a request but I really need them to, I'll ask/encourage/beg/push them until they agree.

If they say they can't handle a request, I'll back off (or see if there's a particular reason they can't and what we can do about it).

I encourage them to take vacations and time for themselves.

In the end, your judgment as a business owner is as simple (and as hard) as looking in the mirror.
