UVA Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium Application 2018
17th Annual Undergraduate Research Network Research Symposium

Rotunda Dome Room
Tuesday April 3rd, 2018 (11:00 am - 4:00 pm)

The URN Symposium is the university's premiere multi-disciplinary research symposium. Each year, we bring together students from a diverse range of disciplines within the humanities, social sciences, and the natural sciences to showcase their work and present to distinguished faculty members and professors. In addition to university-wide recognition, symposium winners will receive monetary prizes and be published in the Oculus research journal.

To be considered for the Symposium, you MUST be able to make a judging time period (see below), and have a printed poster or supplemental visual aid for oral presentations prepared NO LATER than March 31st. Your poster cannot be larger than 36 in x 48 in or 48 in x 36 in due to the size of the poster boards, and must be able to be hung upright on a poster board. Please refer to the resource sheet below for more information on poster printing.

The following application is due by March 23rd. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact Anthara Gnanakumar (ag4zh@virginia.edu).

(If your project is in the humanities and does not have technical terminology/data, a technical abstract may not be required. If this applies to you, please briefly elaborate on why your project would qualify.)

Would you like to showcase your research in the form of an oral presentation as opposed to a poster presentation? *
