Student News Submission Form
There is no “right” direction for your piece except to make sure you keep it “VT.” Maybe you want to interview classmates at an event, describe your experience traveling with EF Tours across the world where you experienced a brand new culture, possibly you will detail the steps of a design challenge or tell the story of how you came to be at VT and how it has shaped who you have become. Write what you know, love and have learned.

Requirements: Any submitted feature should be roughly between 300 - 600 words and be written by the author. All submissions must be school appropriate and uphold the mission of character, challenge and community of Village Tech.

Photos: If you have any photos you would like included with your piece, please attach them to an email with the subject “Student News Submission” to Aubrey Floyd, VT Communications Coordinator, at afloyd@villagetechschools.org.

Selections: If your story is selected we will contact you via email to inform and congratulate you. We will also make sure to let you know when your piece will be published so you will not miss seeing your work in the Parent and Staff “Ink Blot” Newsletter. If your piece is not selected this time we will inform you via email with the inclusion of warms and cools to apply to your next submission. Because we have limited space not all submitted stories can be published, but do not let this discourage you, instead write something new and try again!

Thank you for your awesome submission!
