Dear Student Currently Enrolled in MGMT 310, or who has taken the course in a previous semester,
The School of Business is in the process of renovating the curriculum to best prepare you for your future careers. One of these changes included the creation of a new course in the Advanced Business Core: MGMT 310 Managing People in Organizations. To avoid duplication in course content, MGMT 319 "Organizational Behavior" will be evolving to a new focus on leadership. MGMT 319 will be retitled to "Leadership" starting in Fall 2015.
If you haven't yet taken MGMT 319 "Organizational Behavior" you should take the "Leadership" course instead.
In Spring 2015, "Leadership" will be offered under the following course number: MGMT 491 "Topics: Leadership" sections 2 and 4. MGMT 319 "Organizational Behavior" will also be offered in Spring 2015, but since you've taken MGMT 310, you should not enroll in it.
If you would like to register for the "Leadership" course for the Spring 2015 semester, please complete this online form to indicate which sections you would like to register for. An advisor will be in touch with you shortly to issue you an override that will enable you to register for the class.
If you have any questions about this process, please reach out to Katherine Drumm, Director of Advising at firstname.lastname@example.org.
