Creating Change Staff & Faculty Stipend Application 2017: Deadline Nov 21
Complete the application below for a stipend to attend the Creating Change Conference. Stipend will be approximately $1,000, and provided after the conference. Recipients are expected to provide receipts to receive the stipend. These would include receipts for conference registration, travel, lodging, and food.

About the Creating Change Conference:

The National LGBTQ Task Force sponsors and organizes the Creating Change Conference. 2017 marks the 29th gathering of this unique national conference, the pre-eminent political, leadership and skills-building conference for the LGBTQ social justice movement. Since 1988, Creating Change has created the opportunity for thousands of committed people to develop and hone their skills, celebrate victories, build community, and to be inspired by visionaries of our LGBTQ movement and allied movements for justice and equality. The 29th Creating Change Conference will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in beautiful and historic Philadelphia, January 18 – 22, 2017. *Equality VCU hopes to offer these stipends to staff and faculty who work for units that do not provide funds for professional development, or whose units cannot provide funding for a conference like Creating Change. Please confirm that your unit will not provide funding for Creating Change before applying for one these stipends.*

*Want more information about VCU's delegation to Creating Change? Come to an info session: Weds Nov 2 at 3pm in Hibbs 331 or Thurs Nov 17 at 3pm in Hibbs 331. These sessions will be geared toward students, but you will gain information as well.*
