Competency 1: Knowledge of contemporary issues within a global framework.
Competency 2: Knowledge of diverse ethical and value dimensions of issues in a global framework.
Competency 3: Fostering an open attitude to engaging diverse cultural situations.
Competency 4: Fostering the ability to engage in culturally appropriate ways in international, intercultural, and/or multicultural contexts.
In addition to speakers, activities, and panels, the heart of the experience will be project based. All participants will work with a facilitator and other group members each afternoon to develop a course, or redesign a course, or create a teaching application that supports the delivery of the global learning competencies using QEP student learning outcomes.
