Faculty Scholarship Application Form

The Faculty Scholarship Fund originated in 1941 with the Fiftieth Anniversary gift of the faculty to the University, and was maintained by faculty contributions under the leadership of the late Professor Helen Ingraham. The income from the fund provides an award to a rising junior or senior on the basis of scholarship (3.5 GPA or above), leadership, and demonstrated financial need who is pursuing an undergraduate degree on at least a half-time basis.

The deadline for applications is April 3, 2017.

    Required Essay

    In addition to the information above, each applicant must submit a minimum 500-word essay addressing the following question. Submit as a PDF to Mary Lea Wolfe, mlwolfe@uncg.edu, by April 3, 2017. How have you put your UNCG education into practice to advance discussions, research, creative expression or other actions? Give specific examples of how your leadership efforts have contributed to scholarship, equity, justice, collaboration or the common good.
