It is required by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) that at least one (1) person from each camp/youth program be trained in Medication Administration training. Will you have at least one (1) staff member that has had Medication Administration training for 2017 programs?
It is required by DHMH that at least two (2) people from each camp/youth program be trained in First Aid/CPR. Will you have at least two (2) staff members that have current certifications in First Aid/CPR for 2017 programs?
Please provide any questions that you may have below. FYI, shortly we will post training dates for First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration Training. There will be a fee associated with those training programs. There will also be a training session for all camp or youth program Director's and Assistant Director's to discuss required training of staff and what to cover, how to complete a Health Plan (must be reviewed by Risk Management and approved by University Health Center) and how to complete an Annual Report that must be submitted to DHMH after your camp ends.
