In this workshop, you'll explore the idea of the flipped classroom beyond the buzzword and the headline hype. Participants will examine their own use of classroom time and consider ways that might be optimized by moving components between in-class and out-of-class time. The discussion will include the use of open education resources, monitoring student use of out-of-class materials, and adding a reflective component to ensure analysis. There will be a demonstration and resources for those who want to produce their own recordings for out-of-class use.
