Please submit a funding request at least two weeks prior to your event AND send an email to
rccounci@ucsc.edu. Attach an itemized budget to your email.
To be considered for the following week please submit your requests no later than noon on Friday. All requests submitted after that will be considered at the following week's meeting.
We offer TWO types of funding, please read this to understand which type of funding you should apply for. If you are unsure about whether your event fits within EPF requirements, fill out the form anyway.

General Funding: We offer funding for SOAR affiliated clubs and college affiliated projects and events. This funding can go towards putting on ANY type of event or project. For general funding we will NOT accept funding requests greater than $150, except by special request.

Environmental Projects Fund (EPF): The EPF provides funding to small scale environmentally friendly events and projects on campus working on sustainability or environmental justice issues. The EPF can accept requests up to $150. EPF FUNDING CAN BE ADDED TO GENERAL FUNDING. To be eligible for EPF funding your event or project must fit one or more of the following criteria:
1. Education (on sustainability or environmental justice issues)
and/or
2. Fit 1 or more categories of sustainability:
a. Waste managementb. Emissions reduction
c. Implementation of on-campus sustainability upgrades
d. Improving sustainability at events
For senior design projects, please contact Provost Shelly Grabe, sgrabe@ucsc.edu, who has a budget for funding senior projects.
