Community Research Program 2012- 2013 Application- Office of AHANA Student Programs
Thank you for your interest in the Community Research Program (CRP). CRP is a unique and dynamic two-semester program (3 credits in Fall, 4 credits in Spring) which provides students:
1. Leadership, research and public policy training in the Latino, Asian/Asian American, Native American and/or African and African Diaspora communities
2. An opportunity to conduct their own original research project and research paper on issues facing the Latino, Asian/Asian American, Native American and/or African and African Diaspora communities, and have opportunities to present their work in a public forum
3. An environment to engage with academics, activists and peers in discussions concerning the state of the Latino, Asian/Asian American, Native American and/or African and African Diaspora communities
4. A thorough understanding of research methods
After completing the application please email an unofficial transcript (degree audit) and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 30th. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and students are highly encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible.
