STEM Cafe Chemistry Tutoring sign-up sheet
The Women's Resources and Research Center invites faculty and graduate students skilled in Chemistry (2ABC, 8AB, 118ABC, or beyond) to participate as a tutor at the WRRC's STEM Cafe. Tutors can volunteer one to two hours of their week to aid students with their coursework in an informal, noncompetitive setting. Tutors are encouraged to acknowledge this work as "Academic Service" or "Outreach" on their CV or Resume. STEM Cafe is a free tutoring program open to students of all genders looking for help with chemistry. We aim to create a fun and collaborative environment - Snacks and refreshments are also provided! STEM Cafe is a part of the WRRC's Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program that supports efforts towards the recruitment and retention of women within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields.
This quarter, STEM Cafe occurs weekly on Wednesdays from 3 - 5pm at the WRRC (1st floor of North Hall). Thank you for considering volunteering at the Women's Resources and Research Center and supporting students in STEM fields. Tutors play an integral role in the existence and success of STEM Cafe!
