    Eyes on the Sky

    Our goal is to provide your students with an opportunity to view such objects as our Moon; our Sun, sometimes with sunspots and prominences; planets, occasionally with some of their moons; stars of different sizes and colour; and deep-sky objects such as nebulae, globular clusters, and galaxies. Objects viewed are dependent on sky conditions, light pollution and time of day/month. Due to northern latitude sunset times we offer night time viewing from early October to early March. Safe solar viewing is available September through June. We are able to provide up to two presentations, one indoor Classroom Astronomy presentation and one outdoor telescope experience to be chosen from the following options:
