The integration makes the little-used service that came with Apple's $3 billion Beats acquisition available to hundreds of millions of iPhone and iPad users. Mozilla, which makes the Firefox browser, signed a five year deal for the search engine that starts next month. Details weren't disclosed, but the relationship is a revenue sharing agreement that includes certain unspecified "guarantees," according to Yahoo CEO Marissa [MY-er]. 33	The human rights group Amnesty International has released a tool for Windows that can find spyware used by governments around the world to monitor activists and political opponents. It's called Detekt. And it finds spying tools that harvest webcam pictures or listen in to laptop microphones. The tool was built in collaboration with Amnesty International, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Privacy International and Digitale Gesellschaft. 48	Kevin Quincey "On your Oct 17 2014 TNT show, you mentioned the Apple multi-carrier Sim and were disappointed that Apple hasn’t spoken more about it. I checked with an Apple employee and I think the reason why is that the major networks are already actively working to kill the functionality of it. It works ONE TIME as advertised by Apple (i.e. you can choose the plan and carrier you want from a dialog box on the iPhone) but as soon as you register with a carrier, that carrier (at least AT&T and one or two other big ones) will “burn” the Sim to ensure it can never again be used by another carrier. If it's true, I hope you’ll report on it because that just feels like wrong to me."

54	Amazon Fire tablet owners will be getting a new Washington Post app with six months of free content. After the six months are over, users can pay a dollar per month for the next six months. The app features a "pinch view" that mimics the experience of flipping through an actual newspaper. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post just over a year ago.
