Hello to Tom, Iyaz, Jason, and especially Sarah (glad you are feeling better Sarah). I am sorry this is a bit late but I wanted to comment on Apple's earnings and the unfair way the company is treated by the financial analysts and then reported by the press.

The first is that I think that Apple should be judged by how well it does on what it promises and not what anybody else thinks it should be doing. Did Tim Cook deliver on almost everything he promised at the earnings call three months ago? The answer is more or less yes. Did he promise the moon and the stars and not deliver, No.

Second, Steve Jobs decided years ago when he pulled Apple out of MacWorld that he and he alone would decide when a product would be announced and when it would ship. Tim Cook appears to be following that same idea. This make sense to me since it is his company and he is the only one that has all the information needed to make that decision and the only one that has the right to access all the information to make that decision.
