Your Feedback Matters – Update on Xbox One http://news.xbox.com/2013/06/update

.

Scott Johnson predicted this earlier this weekhttp://www.myextralife.com/comic/turn-around/comment-page-1/SCREEN

.

- Microsoft posted an about face on its Xbox site regarding the Xbox One credited to Don Mattick, President of MS's Interactive Entertainment Business
- An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games (after a one time system set-up). No 24 hour connection requirement
- Used and rented games will work like they do today.
- Disc based games will require the disc to be in the tray
- If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Downloaded titles can't be shared or resold
- There will be no regional restrictions
- MS says that it has "heard from many of you... and listened to your feedback."

Q: Is this position switch a good thing? Will this take away Sony's early advantage?
<-- Don't forget the sharing of online games with 10 household member and the ability to get your games on any Xbox without the disc goes away here. I think a more interesting question is did this make Microsoft's Xbox worse ort better? tm
