iaLet's take a look at the Department of Justice vs. Apple ebook price-fixing case. The DOJ asserts that emails and statements made by Steve Jobs are proof that Jobs was the ringmaster of an ebook price-fixing conspiracy. iaEuropean Commissioner for Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes outlined Europe's proposed net neutrality guidelines. ISPs would not be able to block or throttle services that compete with their own like VOIP. ISPs would have to tell customers what is included in their service and what speeds they can expect. slVerizon reportedly close to a four-year, $1 billion deal to stream every NFL gamehttp://www.theverge.com/2013/6/4/4394684/verizon-close-to-a-four-year-deal-to-stream-every-NFL-game

.

- verizon & nfl looking to deepen partnership: according to Sports Business Daily, wrapping up a four-year, $1 billion contract for Verizon to stream every NFL game. Currently, Verizon's NFL Mobile Premium lets users stream games on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday nights for $5 a month. This new deal will include Sunday afternoon games on CBS and Fox as well as the league's complete playoff schedule.
- Verizon would pay 5x its current $50 million per year. still less than what TV networks pay for NFL broadcasts. Last year, the NFL's TV partners signed nine-year deals, some of which pay nearly the same amount per year that Verizon will pay for the life of its contract. ESPN pays an average of $1.8 billion per year, while Fox and CBS both pay just over $1 billion per year.
- Verizon can stream every game on the NFL's schedule, it won't be able to stream them to every device on Verizon's network. The service reportedly will be restricted to "mobile phones" — a restriction that's largely already in place. The NFL Mobile app for iOS is a universal one, but users can only stream live games to an iPad if they also subscribe to Verizon FiOS or Cablevision cable service. The service isn't even available on Wi-Fi only iPads, and it also doesn't support video out over HDMI or Airplay
- q: no wifi-only tablets? no airplay? who is this good for? ppl in transit?

Dudes... We actually had the Atari ET game... It is not a myth... It was very hard to do... I remember that much. I also remembering that ET falls in a pit... which was nearly impossible to get out of.... which makes the garbage pit possibility amusing.

We bought the ET game in Florida... brought it to Arkansas, but unfortunately, we sold it at a garage sale many years ago. So.... someone in Arkansas has an elusive ET game...
