Sad Larry Page was sad
"We should be building things that don't exist. Not every new technology is zero-sum. Being negative is not how we make progress."
Wants a place where we can all just experiment
"But maybe we could set apart a piece of the world … An environment where people can try new things. I think as technologists we should have some safe places where we can try out new things and figure out the effect on society…without having to deploy it to the whole world."

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2419049,00.asp

Q: What do you make of this move by Google/by Samsung? Any surprise that it's not a Motorola phone?

I'm a bit behind, but I was listening to the may 2 podcast [where you talked about EA not bringing the next Madden to the Wii U], and had to chime in. I've been a long time madden fan close to 20 years. I've bought the game starting from pc versions, on to Xbox, the Wii and most recently ps3.

The last version was an absolute turd, pardon my French. It was a slap in the face to all long time madden fans. So, I will not buy the next version and with how ea has treated their customers of late they can go suck it. I will spend my money elsewhere. The future of wii-u is debatable, but neither madden nor ea will decide it.
