- Nikkei says Microsoft is working with Japan's KLab
- The deal would cover both Xbox and PC games
- The first game will be a free to play variant of "Age of Empires," which could launch this fiscal year

Q: Office is on iOS and now Xbox games could hit Android - does this show a renewed interest in MS simply being a software maker and not world domination machine? Wouldn't WP be better served with exclusive gaming?

sliOS 7 Disables Screenshot Interruptions, Allows Users to Secretly Take Snapchat Screenshotshttp://www.macrumors.com/2013/06/24/ios-7-disables-screenshot-interruptions-allows-users-to-secretly-take-snapchat-screenshots/

.

- ios 7 beta: screenshots don't interrupt photo viewing in snapchat. in ios 6: user opens Snapchat photo in the app. finger is required on the screen to hold the photo open while viewing the picture. The act of taking a screenshot interrupts the picture viewing and closes the photo, which is the method that Snapchat uses to detect an "illegal" screenshot, thereby notifying the sender of the photo that a snapshot has been saved.
- not the 1st screenshot workaround, but is it even deliberate?
- snapchat announced yesterday it closed its $60M dollar Series B round of venture funding, co valued @ $800M
- is this deliberate on apple's part?
- is it foolish to ever expect privacy in any app?

Hey TNT!

Regarding the Flipface discussion on episode 781, I think the main motivation for Facebook to make a Flipboard-like product is to crack the nut on mobile advertising. Maybe they think a magazine layout will make ads more attractive and get more engagement. We know there's a massive migration trend to mobile and that Facebook, despite its billion users, hasn't been able to monetize mobile effectively. Just a thought.

Hey TnT crew! Just listened to your Monday show and I actually got very excited about Google Mine. When I originally read the story I thought it was pretty lame and couldn't think of a use case, but then after listening to what Tom said it got me thinking.

What if everything I owned in my home was backed up on Google Mine. I would have a catalog of everything I own, which could be useful sometimes, but what would be very cool is if, let's say a friend in my Google+ circle is google searching for an item that I own, and since we are in the same circle, he could be notified that I own that item, either to buy the item or get feedback about it.

Wouldn't it be great if friends of yours could say, "Hey Tom, I really need a new waffle maker and I see you have one, would you be willing to sell it?" And then the whole transaction could take place using Google Wallet. It could be the future of an Ebay type system for Google.

Also, taking it one step further you could put items up for sale very easily because all the data is already online and you could keep it private to just your Google+ circles or public. I just got really excited about this idea and wanted to get your feedback. Thanks for the show!
