Stories about harassment of LGBQTIA people in public spaces
Stop Street Harassment (www.stopstreetharassment.org) is collecting stories from members of the LGBQTIA community about their experiences with unwanted harassment in public places. The stories will be published on the SSH website as a special collection to bring more attention to this under-recognized problem. They may also inform future articles on the subject.

The harassment may include (but is not limited to): unwanted whistling, "catcalls," solicitations for sex, repeated solicitations for a date/number/name after you've said no, homophobic or transphobic slurs or actions, being followed, being flashed, and being sexually touched against your will.

Public spaces may include (but is not limited to): streets, sidewalks, bus stops, subway platforms, buses and subways, taxis, parks, parking lots, stores, and restaurants.

Your story will be attributed to anonyous if you do not include a name.
