Data Pitch Consultation
Data Pitch is a new, EU-funded open innovation project bringing together corporates and public sector organisations that have data, with startups and SMEs working with data.

We’re calling on individuals and organisations from across Europe to help us define the challenges that will be tackled by startups which successfully apply to Data Pitch. This is your chance to influence the design and focus of this open innovation project and to highlight areas which are directly affecting your business, industry, or wider society. Based on your feedback, we will define a set of data challenges. Startups and SMEs will propose solutions to these challenges - the best of them will be invited to join the Data Pitch accelerator and receive up to €100k equity-free funding.

This consultation runs from 2 May to 4 June 2017.

It is part of a broader decision framework which involves the Data Pitch team, you and our Advisory Board.

We are using a range of sources and methods to collect ideas for challenges, including desk research, roundtables and surveys. The main driver for the selection of the final challenges will be the potential impact of the solutions for data providers and the European data economy as a whole.

We will prioritise challenges that are far-reaching, yet realistic. When proposing a challenge, keep in mind that we will be seeking, several, complementary solutions to the challenge which can achieve notable results within a timeframe of six months, with funding of up to €100k.
