During the summer, peer advisors assist with New Student Orientation. Primary responsibilities include helping undeclared students with course selection, registration, narrowing major options, and informing students of Temple policies and resources. Typically, peer advisors work between 15 and 25 hours per week during the summer.
During the fall and spring semesters peer advisors serve as liaisons between professional advising staff and students. Peer advisors are also responsible for many office tasks including greeting students, answering phones, deliveries, and filing. Hours for new peer advisors will likely be limited to approximately 10 hours per week.
