The CTL can schedule additional Microteaching practice sessions based on interest and availability. These sessions are open to current Columbia graduate students and postdocs. For more information, visit
Which type of microteaching session would you prefer to participate in?
There are two types of microteaching sessions: a full session incorporating video analysis, and a short session that does not. Full sessions typically happen in the CTL Learning Commons, 204 Butler Library.
Full (120 minutes). Incorporates video playback for more targeted analysis.
Short (90 minutes). Does not incorporate video.
Are you making this request with others?
You are very welcome to individually request to participate in an interdisciplinary microteaching session, or request a session with 2 or 3 other peers.
Group request information
If you are making a group request, please provide the full names and UNI of two or three peers who wish to participate in a microteaching session with you.
Optimal time for session
Please provide information that will help us to schedule this request at a time that would work for you. Please indicate months or specific weeks that would work. CTL will work with this information and contact you to schedule an exact time and location.
