By submitting an application for the SXSW Tech Startup Spotlight, I acknowledge and agree to the following: My company is only eligible to participate in either SXSW Tech Startup Spotlight or SXSW Accelerator, but not both. Submitting this application does not guarantee that my company will be selected for the SXSW Tech Startup Spotlight. If selected, there will be a participation fee of $2000 USD and selected participants will enter into a separate contract with SXSW. Selected participants will receive one (1) complimentary Interactive Badge or one (1) complimentary Music Badge (if participating in the SXSW Music Startup Spotlight) but refunds will not be issued for badges already purchased by the participant. SXSW wants you to know that there are always concerns about intellectual property rights involved in events of this nature. Because SXSW is not in a position to protect or advise you on your intellectual property rights, SXSW cannot and does not take any responsibility for doing so.
