AAWA is proud to offer five (5) AAWA Scholarship Awards of $500 each to Asian American and Pacific Islander students.
Overview
The Asian American Women's Alliance (AAWA) was founded in 1996 and is a volunteer-based, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. Our funding comes from donors and fund-raising activities, and is spent on social change and community services. The alliance members are actively dedicated to building personal and professional support among Asian American women in all their walks of life. AAWA seeks to create opportunities for mutual learning, nurturing mentor relationships, engaging in career and leadership development, while encompassing all diversity the community has to offer.
Eligibility
Asian American and Pacific Islander students enrolled in High School, College, or Graduate School
Selection
A committee of the AAWA board members will make the final selection of scholarship recipients.
Deadline
Submit application online and postmark official transcripts and letters of recommendation by Friday, April 8th, 2016 at 11:59 PM. Awards will be presented Friday, May 13, 2016 at the AAWA Annual Scholarship & Recognition Award Banquet at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 777 Bellew Dr. Milpitas, CA 95035.
