Why Coach?

You're going to be sitting through games and practices anyway, so there won't be much of a difference time-wise, right? And if the coaching position is going to be filled by a random parent, why shouldn't it be you?
Regardless of your skill set, there's an opportunity to share a great experience with your son or daughter. Coaching a team where your child plays can be a fun and rewarding experience for both parent and child.
While winning is fun, many players are less interested in developing into a sports stand-out, than they are in just having a good time with their classmates and burning off energy.
A final thought, mom’s make great coaches too!

To Coach at St Thomas More School:

We follow the rules of the SF CYO.  You will need to get fingerprinted, have a background check and attend a specific sport coach’s clinic (If you attend one CYO coaches' clinic for any sport, it will count for other sports you do that year)
