St. Francis Neighborhood Center Renovation Needs Survey
We are starting the process of beginning a capital campaign to renovate and expand the Center. This is a project that will take several years. We want your input to take to the architect. Our current thinking is to expand and have all meeting spaces and programs on the first floor. What are needs that you have or would like to see in YOUR new space? For example, a meeting room, large gathering space, classrooms, art studio, computer lab, green space development, kitchen, shed, proper storage, etc. No idea is too small or too big at this point--dream; but keeping in mind our mission: to ending generational poverty in families through education, inspiring self-esteem, self-improvement, and strengthening connections to the community. We need ideas submitted by March 15. Once we have input from families, kids, staff, board, community members, etc., our next step is to meet with the architect and turn it into a functional and realistic design, assess the cost. Then the development/fundraising portion starts. We are engaged with a company called Episcopal Housing, and they will oversee the process. Thank you!
