International Observe the Moon Night

“It’s YOUR Moon: What Does the Moon Mean to You?"



Saturday night, October 8, 2011 - 7 pm to 9:00 pm

This is a Public Star Party Event

Come observe the Moon to celebrate the International Observe the Moon Night with activities designed for school age children accompanied by a parent or teacher.  In the event of inclement or cloudy weather, the activities will be held indoors.
Please join Yerkes Observatory as the world celebrates the Moon.  See it up close and personal through a variety of telescopes and activities.  Please join astronomers, educators, space enthusiasts, and kids of all ages.  Learn some interesting things about the Moon that we’ll bet you never knew.
