Stanly County Schools Pupil Transfer Request 2017-2018
If you prefer an assignment for your child other than his/her assigned school, you may request a transfer between February 1, 2017 to May 15, 2017. This form must be completed online. If you wish to present addition documentation, you can submit it to Mr. Mike Williams, Director of Student Services (1000‐4 N. First Street; Albemarle, NC 28001) no later than May 15, 2017. You will be notified by June 30, 2017 of the transfer committee's decision. You must re‐apply for a transfer when your child ages out of their current school (i.e.: 5th grade, 8th grade). Tuition will be charged to all students living outside Stanly County, but attending Stanly County Schools by transfer. Transfers may be revoked for reasons listed in Policy #4025. An electronic form must be submitted for each individual student.
