Interested in helping out First Year *and* Upperclassman students move in? Volunteer for the Peacock Flock!
As part of the Peacock Flock, you will be required to assist with First Year Move In, welcoming the students, unloading cars, and helping transport items up to student rooms. You can expect to be busy from about 7am till 5pm on that Sunday, August 26, 2012.
You will also be asked to help out with Upperclassman Move In on West Campus from 8am –5pm on Monday, August 27, 2012.
As a member of the Peacock Flock, you agree to do the following:
1. You must make sure that your tuition bill is paid in full or a payment plan has been arranged with Enrollment Services.
2. You must make sure that your Health Services requirements are up to date and on file with the college (only for new residents).
3. RSVP via this form by Friday, August 5th, stating that you wish to participate in the Peacock Flock. Please note your T-shirt size, a contact phone number for you, and your class year.
Once these items are all in order, you will be able to move into your Fall Housing Assignment on Friday, August 24th. Check in on that day is from 11:00am-2:00pm in the Office of Residence Life.
Peacock Flock volunteers that are approved for early arrival must help out on August 26th and 27th. If you arrive that Friday, and then decide not to help on Sunday and/or Monday mornings, you will be responsible for the cost of one week's living on campus for the summer session.
