You could always upload longer docs and ppt slides, anyways. There are ways to interact with deeper content and use for direct instruction. It takes practice but poss. and highly useful in practicing planning for self- paced lessons. Agreed best for lighter content, but that is also a limitation of iPad/ screen itself. | I use it for student modeling/diagraming. We predict/share/discuss. I have done: cycles, energy transformations, force diagrams, gas laws.
