Paratext training is being offered before the 2015 Bible Translation Conference.
The training will take place at the International Linguistics Center

There will be two tracks offered

1) Monday (10/12) and Tuesday (10/13) will provide an introduction to Paratext. You can see the schedule for these days on the tab for Paratext for Translators below.

2) Track 1: Paratext for Translators
Wednesday (10/14) through Friday (10/16)

This track will provide training in using Paratext for translation checking and consistency checking.
See the “Paratext for Translators” sheet below for details of the sessions being offered.

2) Paratext for Consultants and Administrators
Wednesday (10/14) through Friday (10/16)

This track is will provide training in how Paratext can be used by Consultants and Administrators to effectively work with language projects.

IMPORANT: The training will be using Paratext 7.6. You must have a valid Paratext 7 registration
This version can be installed alongside of earlier versions of Paratext.

Cost for training: $10 per day - to be paid at the workshop. Attendees are responsible for their own meals, housing, and transportation.

Please note that when you register you will choose whether or not to attend the introduction days and choose either track 1, or track 2.

We have a limited amount of space available for training (20 people per track).

Paratext training in Waxhaw - November 2-11, 2015

There will be another training session for Paratext in Waxhaw. The first week will follow track 1 and the second week will include elements of track 2.

Cost for training is $10 per day with a maximum of $50 for the training. Attendees are responsible for their own meals, housing, and transportation.
